The Challenge
Sherwin-Williams’ retail employees were having a difficult time stain matching – a process in which a consumer would bring in a piece of wood from an existing project and need to have a stain made to match it’s color. Sometimes this process would take 10+ tries for a Sherwin employee to dial in the correct stain color.
The Solution
Develop an enablement tool that simplified the process and reduced the number of steps and time needed to match a stain.
